Social Media Recruiting Tip #1 – Raise Curiosity over Resistance

One good example in raising curiosity is giving them a teaser on what your company is all about or giving them a preview on what you have in store for them. Don’t give them the whole picture, juts hang them curious or else they will lost interest because they are already know what you are into. Do not also mention your company too many times because it sounds like spamming them. Let them find out for themselves and when they research about you or about your company, more questions will be present and they need someone to answer them and that someone is you. You will not answer them of course. You will answer them once they accept your invitation.

Social Media Recruiting Tip #2 – Never Send Unsolicited Links                 

Maybe sending unsolicited links works before when the internet is new but now people already know what spam means. When you send a link they didn’t ask, you will be categorize as a spammer and this is not good for you and your business.  What you need to do is to build relationship and building relationship takes time. Send the link when they already ask for it and because they ask for it, they will take time to look at it and study your company and if they sign-up, you are sure that you are getting quality recruits.

Social Media Recruiting Tip #3 – Don’t be so Obvious

You are excited and you can’t wait to tell them about your program but you have to wait. You have to control yourself and let the people you talk to get themselves ready to receive the good news. If they are not yet ready then you are just wasting your time. Save yourself from trouble and do not pitch on the first day.
